Mada — Privacy Policy

In one sentence

Mada stores everything on your device. We do not have servers, do not collect personal data, and do not include analytics or advertising SDKs.

What stays on your device

The schedules you create, your completion records, and any snooze records you set are saved to a SwiftData store inside the Mada app sandbox on your device.

That store is shared via an App Group container with the Mada widget extension on the same device, so the lock-screen Live Activity can read and write the same data.

What we never collect

• No name, email, phone number, or any identifier
• No location data
• No contacts
• No advertising IDs
• No analytics or telemetry
• No crash reports beyond what Apple aggregates anonymously for you (which you control under Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements)

Third-party SDKs

None. Mada uses only Apple's first-party frameworks (SwiftUI, SwiftData, ActivityKit, WidgetKit, UserNotifications).

Notifications

Local notifications are scheduled on-device by iOS based on the reminders you create. They do not travel through any server.

Optional: lock-screen reminders (Beta)

Mada offers an opt-in feature, Lock-screen reminders, that uses Apple ActivityKit's push-to-start to display the Live Activity at the scheduled time without you tapping a notification first. Turning this on is the only situation in which Mada communicates with a backend.

When the feature is ON, the app sends the following to our backend (Firebase project mada-156ec, US region):

• A random anonymous identifier (UUID) generated on first use, with no link to your Apple ID, name, email, hardware, or any external account.
• The ActivityKit push-to-start token for the Mada app (issued by Apple; only useful to deliver Live Activity pushes to your specific device).
• For each schedule: title, emoji, time, repeat rule, and the next computed fire moment.
• Your device's IANA timezone identifier (e.g. Asia/Seoul).
• The Mada app version.

What is never sent, even when the feature is ON: your name, email, phone, Apple ID; your completion history; your snooze history; data from any other app; your location; your contacts; any identifier beyond the anonymous UUID above.

Retention: data is kept only while the feature is on. Schedule documents are updated in place each time a Live Activity fires (we do not log push history). When you turn the feature off in Settings → Lock-screen reminders, the app immediately sends a delete request and your device record plus all stored schedules are purged from our backend.

Where the data lives: Firebase Functions for the API, Cloud Firestore for token + schedule storage, Cloud Scheduler for time-based triggering — all in Google Cloud's US-Central region. Live Activity pushes are delivered via Apple's push notification service. All traffic is HTTPS / TLS 1.3.

How to turn it off: Mada → Settings → toggle Lock-screen reminders off. The app sends a delete request immediately on toggle-off.

Children

Mada is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy in a way that affects how data is handled, we will update the effective date above and note the change in the app's next release notes.

제3자 SDK

없음. Mada는 Apple 1차 프레임워크(SwiftUI, SwiftData, ActivityKit, WidgetKit, UserNotifications) 만 사용합니다.

알림

로컬 알림은 사용자가 만든 리마인더 기반으로 iOS가 기기 안에서 직접 예약합니다. 어떠한 서버도 거치지 않습니다.

선택 기능: 잠금화면 리마인더 (Beta)

Mada는 옵트인 기능인 잠금화면 리마인더를 제공합니다. Apple ActivityKit의 push-to-start를 사용해, 사용자가 알림을 탭하지 않아도 예약된 시간에 Live Activity를 잠금화면에 자동으로 띄웁니다. 이 기능을 켰을 때에만 Mada는 백엔드와 통신합니다.

기능이 켜져 있을 때, 앱은 다음을 백엔드(Firebase 프로젝트 mada-156ec, 미국 리전)에 전송합니다:

• 최초 실행 시 생성되는 랜덤 익명 UUID — Apple ID, 이름, 이메일, 하드웨어, 어떠한 외부 계정과도 연결되지 않음
• Mada 앱용 ActivityKit push-to-start 토큰 (Apple이 발급, 해당 기기로 Live Activity push를 전달할 때만 유효)

아동

Madaはすべてのデータをデバイス内にのみ保存します。サーバーを運用しておらず、個人情報の収集も、解析・広告SDKの組み込みもありません。

デバイスに保存されるもの

ユーザーが作成したスケジュール、完了履歴、スヌーズ履歴は、Madaアプリのサンドボックス内のSwiftData ストアに保存されます。

このストアはApp Groupコンテナを介して同じデバイスのMadaウィジェット拡張とのみ共有され、ロック画面のライブアクティビティが同じデータを読み書きできるようにしています。

収集しないもの

• 氏名、メール、電話番号、いかなる識別子も
• 位置情報
• 連絡先

• クラッシュレポート (Appleが匿名で集計するシステムレベルのデータは別 — 設定 → プライバシーとセキュリティ → 解析と改善 で管理可能)

サードパーティSDK

なし。MadaはApple純正フレームワーク（SwiftUI、SwiftData、ActivityKit、WidgetKit、UserNotifications）のみを使用します。

通知

ローカル通知は、ユーザーが作成したリマインダーに基づきiOSがデバイス上で直接スケジュールします。サーバーを経由しません。

オプション機能: ロック画面リマインダー (Beta)

MadaはオプトインのLock-screen reminders機能を提供します。Apple ActivityKitのpush-to-startを使い、ユーザーが通知をタップしなくても、予定時刻に自動的にライブアクティビティをロック画面に表示します。この機能を有効にしている時のみ、Madaはバックエンドと通信します。

機能が有効な時、アプリは以下をバックエンド (Firebaseプロジェクト mada-156ec、米国リージョン) に送信します:

• 初回起動時に生成されるランダムな匿名UUID — Apple ID、氏名、メール、ハードウェア、いかなる外部アカウントとも紐付けなし

インフラ: APIはFirebase Functions、トークン・スケジュール保存はCloud Firestore、時間トリガーはCloud Scheduler — すべてGoogle Cloud US-Centralリージョン。ライブアクティビティpush配信はApple Push Notification service。すべての通信はHTTPS / TLS 1.3。

無効化方法: Mada → 設定 → ロック画面リマインダートグルをオフ。オフにした瞬間にアプリが削除リクエストを送信します。

お子様について

Madaは4+レーティングで、不適切なコンテンツを含みません。お子様を含むいかなるユーザーからもデータを意図的に収集しません。

データの取り扱いに影響する変更がある場合、上記の施行日を更新し、次回のリリースノートで変更内容をお知らせします。
